Seven State Day

The highest point in South Carolina, the highest point in Georgia, and the Highest point in Alabama. To bad we didn't have the breaks changed yet.

We salute you from Talledega, Alabama. We regret to inform you that our mental operations have been unavailable for the last few days as a result of being in the South (where they apparently have not discovered wireless internet capacity, sigh). So all apologies for being out of touch.
Sorry, Moms.

Here is the wrap...One state at a time. you decide what kind of dirt you are in the mood for.
Do you want travel journal style? Funny stories? Character analysis? Adventures in the culinary arts?

OHIO. Our first stop. Intention, to visit Momma Kris. Reality, weird Amish stories, beautiful fields, and one honking loud donkey.

Amish people do not believe in brushing their teeth because it is vain. But, they get all of their teeth pulled at fourteen years old, with no Novocain. And then they get dentures.
And this makes sense how?

Also, see Time mag this week for an interesting story on the Amish's church decision on whether they can A) use cell phones and/ or B) wear rollerblades.

And now, you decide. More on the Amish? The other six states (of our seven state day)? What do you want from us?

After all, it is all about you, remember?
