We had a great, but too short, visit to Portland. We got to know Ian a little bit...and Chris held a baby for one of the first times. Jon and Heather entertained us too, taking us all around Portland. Ian really wasn't allowed in the bars, so we made do each place by bringing the drinks outside to Heather, who also gets carded more than I do!
So today we pack up the car again and hit the road again. Waving goodbye to the Pacific coast for this adventure and head East. Our first stop is Idaho. We'll be back East pretty soon, so my chance to get into the driver's seat, and avoid a life of ridicule for not driving this whole trip, is coming to a close...Should I drive today?
