Spirit Lake

We must review a bit now, because "the people who grow our food" or "the people we fly over" do not have so much in the way of wireless internet. Hence, I must post now what I failed to do then. I also want to note, though we could not blog, we made it across the entire country only paying for camping one night, and we got home safe and sound.

We spent two days only in Spirit Lake, but it was glorious. Chris' family has cabins there, accessible by a tiny road, but mostly by boat. The land is beautiful there and it is calm and tranquil at the cabin with only the sounds of ripples on the lake. The electricity was not on, but we, the professional campers, managed quite well with our headlamps and campstove. We also acquired two camp chairs in Portland, and so felt out gear was complete and we were content. And we did not see any bears, which I was happy about.
